98-79-3 L-Pyroglutamic Acid is a solid. H-Pyr-Oh,L-Glutamic Acid Lactam is another name for it (S) (S)-2-Pyrrolidone-5-Carboxylic Acid, -5-Oxopyrrolidine-2-Carboxylic Acid. It is used in the Aroma, Perfume, Fragrance, Flavor, Soap and Detergent Industries, Pharmaceutical Industry, and Chemical Industries. Storage: Keep in a cool place. Keep the container tightly closed in a dry, well-ventilated location. To prevent leakage, open containers must be carefully resealed and kept upright.
Often used in the synthesis of peptides and pharmaceuticals. It may also be combined with Triamcinolone Acetonide, a corticosteroid, to develop topical formulations for enhanced efficacy in medical treatments.
